This steel and glass entryway was built for the artist Tellef Tellefson. It was built to fit the roll-up cargo door for the gallery at the USC Roski School of Fine Arts. The metal frame was built here at LAI to precise measurements and transported to the site where it needed to fit the threshold with a half inch tolerance. The doors and tempered glass were installed on-site.
The frame required a pristine front surface so LAI applied Bondo to the entire frame before sanding and painting.
The job was completed within a very tight timeline of two weeks.
